Local residents to have their say on transport planState Member for Narre Warren North, Luke Donnellan MP is asking residents of the City of Casey for their suggestions, opinions, and feedback about plans for Victoria’s transport network. “The Brumby Government is working on a plan to build a better transport network for Victoria and it’s important to hear from interested members of the community before making key decisions,” Luke Donnellan said. The transport plan will take into account proposals for Melbourne's east-west corridor in the Eddington report and other transport priorities across the state. “I want to make sure that the people of the City of Casey have every opportunity to have their say and be heard,” Luke Donnellan said. Residents can provide their feedback by visiting the transport plans section of this website, or by calling Luke on (03) 9706 0566. These website pages also outline Victoria’s transport challenges and the planning currently underway. As well as links to more detailed information including a comprehensive list of road, rail and bus projects across the City of Casey.
Local residents are being encouraged to provide their comments by 5th September to ensure their views can be taken into account before Premier John Brumby’s response to the Victorian transport plan proposals later in September.
